Welcome to Logan Tours. By booking a tour, activity or transfer with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.


 

1. Legal Status of Logan Tours

Logan Tours is a registered tourism agency based on Sal Island, Cape Verde, operating in accordance with applicable tourism and consumer protection laws.

Logan Tours operates:

  • As a direct provider of selected island tours, and

  • As an authorized sales intermediary for activities and transfers operated by licensed local partner companies.


 

2. Scope of Responsibility

Logan Tours assumes responsibility exclusively for:

  • Island tours officially offered and confirmed by Logan Tours through its authorized booking channels

  • Island tours submitted by sales representatives and formally accepted by Logan Tours

  • Island tours executed directly by Logan Tours, using:

    • Logan Tours’ own vehicles and staff, or

    • Licensed vehicle and guide suppliers engaged by Logan Tours when Logan Tours’ own vehicles are fully booked, operating under Logan Tours’ coordination

Logan Tours does not assume responsibility for:

  • Services sold independently by sales representatives on behalf of other companies

  • Other partnerships or agreements sales representatives may have with third parties

  • Activities, transfers or services not confirmed in writing by Logan Tours

  • Private or informal agreements made outside Logan Tours’ official channels


 

3. Sales Representatives

Logan Tours works with independent sales representatives who are authorized only to submit island tour requests to Logan Tours.

Sales representatives:

  • May sell services of other companies in their own capacity

  • Are not authorized to bind Logan Tours for services not officially confirmed

  • Cannot create obligations or liability for Logan Tours outside confirmed bookings

Logan Tours is responsible only for island tours that are:

  • Sent to Logan Tours by a sales representative, and

  • Accepted, confirmed and processed through Logan Tours’ official systems


 

4. Official Booking Channels

Logan Tours is responsible exclusively for bookings made and confirmed through its official channels, including:

Bookings made directly with sales representatives without official confirmation are not considered Logan Tours bookings.


 

5. Booking & Payment

5.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered valid only after written confirmation by Logan Tours and acceptance of the payment conditions stated on the booking page.

5.2 Payment Conditions

Payment conditions vary per service and are strictly governed by what is stated on the official booking page or confirmation.

Depending on the service, payment may be required as:

  • 100% pre-payment

  • Partial pre-payment (e.g. 20%)

  • Pre-payment via secure payment link

  • Cash pre-payment before the tour (collection at your accommodation possible)

  • Cash payment after the tour, only if explicitly stated on the booking page

  • Card payment, available for Logan Tours’ own services (such as island tours), when specified

Failure to comply with stated payment terms may result in cancellation without refund.

5.3 Accepted Payment Methods

  • Secure payment link (supports iDEAL, credit cards and other local methods)

  • Bank transfer (Netherlands or Cape Verde accounts)

  • PayPal

  • Cash (only when allowed and specified)

  • Card payment (for Logan Tours’ own services)

All prices are in Euros (€) and include taxes unless stated otherwise.


 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

6.1 Client Cancellations

  • Cancellation deadlines and refund rules depend on the specific service.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours or 24 hours before the tour (as specified on the booking page) may result in a loss of 20% up to 100% of the total amount.

  • No-shows may result in 100% charge.

6.2 Group Tour Minimum Numbers

Group tours require a minimum number of participants.
If the minimum number is not reached, Logan Tours reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the tour

  • Offer an alternative date or tour

  • Issue a full refund

6.3 Cancellations by Logan Tours

Logan Tours may cancel tours due to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Safety concerns

  • Vehicle or operational issues

  • Force majeure or unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, clients will receive:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule


 

7. Partner Activities & Transfers

7.1 Licensed Partners

Logan Tours works exclusively with licensed local companies for partner activities and transfers.

Each partner:

  • Operates under its own license

  • Holds its own insurance

  • Bears full responsibility for execution and safety

7.2 Intermediary Role

For partner-operated services:

  • Logan Tours facilitates the booking and confirms availability

  • The operating partner is fully responsible for the activity

Logan Tours is not liable for:

  • Partner behavior or actions

  • Accidents or incidents during partner-operated activities

  • Operational failures beyond booking facilitation


 

8. Vehicles & Insurance

Logan Tours owns and operates:

  • 1 jeep 4×4 

  • 2 pick-ups 4×4

All vehicles are covered by all-risk vehicle insurance, covering passengers inside and outside the vehicles during Logan Tours’ own island tours and transfers.


 

9. Tour Operations, Health & Special Assistance

Guests are required to be on time at the agreed pickup location. Failure to arrive on time may result in loss of participation without refund.

For group tours, minor delays may occur due to multiple pickup locations and operational coordination.

For private tours, itineraries may be customized in advance, subject to feasibility, safety, and operational constraints.

Logan Tours works with local guides (and sometimes on a service-provision basis). Clients must ensure they join the tour with the correct and officially assigned guide, by confirming before entering the car that the guide if from Logan Tours.

9.1 Health, Mobility & Special Assistance

Clients are obligated to inform Logan Tours at the time of booking of any medical condition, health issue, reduced mobility, disability, pregnancy, or special assistance requirement that may affect participation in the tour.

This information enables Logan Tours to assess whether the tour can be safely and reasonably carried out. Participation is subject to feasibility and safety considerations.

In cases where a participant has health or mobility limitations:

  • The client and/or accompanying family members or companions remain responsible for personal care and physical assistance (for example, helping someone in or out of the vehicle).

  • Logan Tours guides will provide reasonable assistance when possible, but are not responsible for personal care, medical assistance, lifting, carrying, or constant supervision.

Logan Tours guides are not responsible for:

  • The care or supervision of individuals with medical conditions or reduced mobility

  • The care or supervision of children or minors

  • Any incidents arising from undisclosed health conditions or special assistance needs

Failure to disclose relevant health or mobility information at the time of booking may result in refusal of participation or removal from the tour without refund, where safety is compromised.


 

11. Code of Conduct

Clients must behave respectfully toward:

  • Guides

  • Other participants

  • The environment

Logan Tours reserves the right to terminate participation for disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.


 

12. Photography & Media

Logan Tours may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes.
Clients must inform us in advance if they do not wish to appear.


 

13. Privacy Policy

Personal data is used solely for:

  • Booking administration

  • Operational coordination

  • Service improvement

Data is not shared with third parties without consent, unless legally required.


 

14. Reviews & Feedback

Reviews must relate only to services officially booked with Logan Tours.
Misattributed or misleading reviews may be disputed and reported.


 

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cape Verde.
Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cape Verde.


 

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Logan Tours, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
